Preclinical and Clinical Research Unit
The unit responsible for the coordination and process management of preclinical and clinical research directed by the General Secretariat within the Institute's field of interest.
Duties and responsibilities:
a) To ensure coordination regarding preclinical and clinical research directed by the General Secretariat within the Institute's field of interest.
b) To ensure the production, promotion, and utilization of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and products—as well as diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and methods—developed or produced through R&D; to conduct cooperation and partnership activities with relevant sectors for this purpose.
c) To carry out activities aimed at increasing academic awareness regarding emerging early diagnosis and treatment methods for diseases within the Institute's field of interest.
d) To provide scientific contributions to Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute in determining quality and accreditation rules for health services and training in cooperation with Ministry-affiliated institutions, higher education institutions, the private sector, and specialist associations.
e) To implement the advisory decisions of the Science Boards within the Institute that fall under the unit's field of duty and are approved and referred to the unit by the Head of the Institute.
f) To create, maintain, and ensure the up-to-dateness of necessary records and documents related to the field of duty.
g) To plan and participate in activities such as trainings, seminars, and courses; to carry out project management and cooperation activities related to the field of duty.
h) To carry out activities for the preparation of guides, books, and publications required in the field of duty.
i) To contribute to the Institute's operations in adherence to its corporate vision, mission, and ethical rules.
j) To fulfill other duties assigned by the Head of the Institute.
