Project and R&D Coordination Unit
The unit responsible for determining project areas in line with the recommendations of the Science Boards on subjects concerning maternal, child, and adolescent health within the Institute's field of interest; and monitoring project processes in coordination with TÜSEB and Project Management and Support Department.
Duties and responsibilities
a) To manage relations regarding Institute projects in coordination with TÜSEB and Project Management and Support Department.
b) To ensure cooperation and coordination with national and international stakeholders, universities, public institutions, and private sector organizations regarding the subject headings of Institute projects.
c) To carry out data collection, control, and evaluation activities for scientific commissions regarding research and development activities, aimed at identifying national priority areas and current status assessments.
d) To refer the advisory decisions of the Institute’s Science Boards regarding project areas, which are deemed appropriate by the Head of the Institute, to TÜSEB and Project Management and Support Department.
e) To provide fundamental consultancy and support services in areas such as obtaining data through Ministry records or multi-center research for topics where data is unavailable, establishing control systems, and creating cohort groups within the scope of project headings.
f) To provide researchers with fundamental consultancy services by conducting research on R&D, publications, and acquired patents previously carried out in different institutions within the relevant project fields.
g) To take part in determining the subject headings related to the Institute for project support calls to be issued by TÜSEB, and to carry out the preparations for the announcement of project call headings.
h) To take part in the evaluation of other R&D activities and projects within the field of interest of the Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Institute announced by TÜSEB.
i) To create, maintain, and ensure the up-to-dateness of necessary records and documents related to the field of duty.
j) To prepare ethical guidelines, implementation manuals, etc., required for the project field, and to provide coordination for these activities.
k) To organize workshops, congresses, and similar activities regarding R&D and project studies.
l) To plan activities such as researcher training, seminars, and courses related to the project field.
m) To contribute to the Institute's operations in adherence to its corporate vision, mission, and ethical rules.
n) To fulfill other duties assigned by the Head of the Institute.
