TAÇESE Participated in the “Adolescent and Youth Health Workshop”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Yetim Şahin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Özaydın, who serve at the Türkiye Maternity, Child and Adolescent Health Institute (TAÇESE) under the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB), participated in the “Adolescent and Youth Health Workshop,” organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye and UNICEF.
The workshop, held in Ankara on October 9–10, 2025, began with opening remarks by Deputy Director General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Öz and Specialist Dr. Yüksel Hakan Aydoğmuş, Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Health. In addition to academics, the two-day program was attended by 12 representatives from the Provincial Directorates of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Justice, Presidency of Religious Affairs, and the Turkish Green Crescent Society.
The workshop evaluated national initiatives aimed at improving adolescent and youth health and considered recommendations and strategies for strengthening interinstitutional cooperation.
